Looking for a hardscape contractor in San Clemente who does the base right, not just the surface? That's us. We build paver patios, retaining walls and walkways across south Orange County. Good hardscape starts underground with grading, compaction and drainage, especially on sloped lots.

Full excavation, compacted base, sand-set pavers and locked-in edges that won't shift underfoot or wash out.
Engineered block or stone walls that hold back slope and drain from behind, so pressure never builds against the wall.
Pavers, flagstone or poured concrete laid on a base that stays level, with driveways rated for daily car weight.
French drains, channel drains and grading so water leaves the patio instead of pooling on it or undermining the base.
Built-in seating, fire pits and low walls that define the space and give people a reason to stay outside after dinner.
Block-and-counter builds with room for a grill, sink and storage, tied into the patio so it all reads as one space.
A lot of San Clemente sits on a hill. Talega, Forster Ranch and the bluff lots near the coast all have grade, which means a patio or wall is only as good as the drainage behind it. We cut the pad level, compact the base in lifts and run drainage so winter rain doesn't undermine the work. Near the bluffs we use materials that stand up to salt air. Get it wrong on a slope and it cracks in a year. We build it to stay put.

It comes down to square footage, the paver you pick and how much grading the slope needs. A flat, simple patio runs cheaper than a raised one with walls and drainage. We measure on site and give you a written price, free.
Yes. We stand behind the base and the install. Because we compact properly and build for the San Clemente slope, settling and cracking are rare, but if something shifts on our work, we come back and fix it.
Depends on the look and the ground. Pavers flex with slope and are easy to repair one piece at a time. Concrete is cleaner and costs less up front but can crack on a hill. We'll tell you what fits your lot.
