Hardscape That Holds on San Clemente Slopes
A lot of San Clemente sits on a hill. Talega, Forster Ranch and the bluff lots near the coast all have grade, which means a patio or wall is only as good as the drainage behind it. We cut the pad level, compact the base in lifts and run drainage so winter rain doesn't undermine the work. Near the bluffs we use materials that stand up to salt air. Get it wrong on a slope and it cracks in a year. We build it to stay put.
